-broadly founded on Masonic customs
-with the Order dubiously claiming to be descended directly from the old Spanish Comuneros
-in same fashion that Freemasons claim descent from Solomon's masons
-Comuneros wear distinctly purple uniforms
-with collapse of national institutions under American Presidents > 1865-1868 George Washington Woodward (People's) [impeached, removed from office] it becomes influential
-as paramilitary wing of Justice Party
-with members drilled with guns and the like
-often involved in chaotic street battles
-with outbreak of Liberty and Union War (1868-76) turns into founding element of Constitutional Government > Constitutional Army
-with its leaders given commissions in many cases
-and a great many soldiers joining and forming their own Comunero lodges
-Constitutional Government generally seeks to prevent Comuneros from becoming a deep state by sending in government officials to swear oaths to it
-with end of the war it booms further
-as veterans wish to continue camaraderie of war by being part of fraternal order
-order opens up to allow Roman Catholics in this era to be admitted without violating their religion
-becomes very politically powerful organization heavily associated with Justice Party and being a prop in its perpetual dominance
-becomes very tightly associated with the state when its head John A. Logan becomes president
-admits women from auxiliary group following women's suffrage
-becomes almost omnipresent across the nation and an important way for the state to dispense welfare
-within a voluntary organization
-with election of American Presidents > 1917-1923 Paul Drennan Cravath (Free Trade), state funding of voluntary orgs associated with parties stopped
-they now must be apolitical and unaffiliated with any party
-Comuneros split, but most of it separates from the Justice Party
-as it largely has to do with welfare dispensement at this point
-however smaller "Justice Comuneros" continue in alignment and built up
-in the end this strengthens the Comuneros and makes them more influential across the US as they're no longer so partisan
